Dillie Gives Back

We urge all Fans of Dillie to give generously to the charity and services of your choice, and to help animals and people all over the world whenever you can. It doesn't have to be a finacial donation -- there a millions of small acts of kindness you can do every day that will ease someone's pain or brighten someone's day.

Please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers and hearts right now, and contact the Red Cross to see how you can help the relief effort.  Or here is a very easy way to make a small but very helpful donation-- donate $10 to the Red Cross effort by text messaging "HAITI" on your cell phone to Number 90999

Any funds we earn through selling "Dillie Gear" (T-shirts, etc) will be donated to the "For Pat" Fund of Elm Ridge Animal Hospital, to help wildlife and pets, as well as to the United Vision Disability Service, Low Vision Clinic in Akron, Ohio-- they are a marvelous organization that helps mostly children adapt to and overcome their vision disability-- children, like Dillie, born with severe vision loss. To date, we have raised $640 to be shared by both causes.

Donations to our "For Pat" fund help us treat injured wildlife, like this Great Horned Owl that needed orthopedic surgery.  This fund is also used as an emergency loan fund for existing clients whose pets need treatments they cannot afford at that moment. "Pat" is our former receptionist Pat Fouts, that passed away in March , 2009 , from lung cancer.  We honor her memory every time we help an animal or person in need. We miss you, Pat ! We know you are keeping God in line up there, and we hope you get to ride Secretariat every day.
