Beginning July 1, Elm Ridge is launching a year-long Pet Poisoning Awareness campaign. We will be supplying local florists, nurseries, and garden stores with cards they can place on poisonous plants. We also be giving stickers to automotive stores, grocery stores, and other shops to identify pet hazards like antifreeze and sugarless gum. We will be distributing Pet Poisoning Awareness flyers in pet stores, too !
From this web page, we will be displaying articles on different "surprise" poisons, and links to other resources. We will be hosting seminars to get the word out, and trying to get radio shows to cover this important topic.
Help us end unnecessary pet poisonings ! Read the pages as we post them. Tell your merchants to mark the products and plants that could kill your beloved pet. Have them call us for warning cards and stickers, and a list of potential hazards. It is totally free for them! Thank them for participating and showing they care about you and your pets.
